How it works
One habit, three seconds long
Say it
Talk or type, in whatever words come out. Momentum works out on its own whether that was a task, a note, an idea, or something for a list.
It files it — in your words
What you said is what gets stored. It does not tidy you up, rephrase you, or translate you into the language the rest of the app happens to be in.
Ask it back
“What’s on today?” “What do I need at the supermarket?” It answers from your own notes and from nothing else.
New
It keeps your time, too
Tell Momentum about an appointment and it treats that hour as taken. Same chat, nothing new to learn — on every plan, with an account.
Appointments block the day
Say “dentist Thursday at 5” and the hour is spoken for. Ask “am I free tomorrow afternoon?” and you get the real gaps, from what you actually booked.
Clashes named, never fixed
If two things overlap, it tells you and asks. It does not move anything you did not ask it to move.
It speaks first in the morning
Open a new chat in the morning and your day is the first card: what has a time, what is late, a goal that needs a word. Written from your own tasks and nothing else.
The hard part
What it will never do
A second brain you cannot trust is worse than no second brain, because you stop checking. These three are enforced in the product, not promised in a blog post.
Claim a capture it never made
Saying something was saved requires actually having saved it. Every reply is checked against the tools that really ran, and a claim with nothing behind it gets flagged instead of shown.
Put words in your mouth
Captures are stored in your own words — no rephrasing, no re-tensing, no translating, even when a voice transcript comes out garbled.
Invent an answer
Ask about something you never captured and you are told there is nothing, rather than handed a plausible guess. A made-up task is the one bug this product cannot survive.
Languages
It speaks the way you do
Seven languages end to end, including the voice. Momentum transcribes on the server rather than leaning on your phone’s dictation, which is exactly why Catalan works here and mostly does not there.
Voice is proven out loud in English, Català and Español; the rest are new.

Get Momentum
Two ways in. Both take a minute.
It is the same app either way, on the same brain — sign in on one and it is there on the other.
Use it in your browser
Nothing to install. This is the full app, not a preview of it, and it is the fastest way to try Momentum: you can be typing about four seconds from now.
Open the web appChrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge. Works on a phone too.
Install it on Android
.apkA proper app on your home screen, with the capture widget — one tap from the launcher to a captured thought.
Download for Android- Tap the download button. It is an .apk file, straight from the build server.
- Android will warn you about installing outside the Play Store — Momentum is not on it yet. Allow it for your browser.
- Open the file, install, done.
Updates arrive over the air after that. You will not reinstall for every change.
On an iPhone? There is no App Store build yet — that needs a paid Apple developer account, which comes later. Open the web app in Safari and add it to your home screen; it behaves like an app from there.
The whole test takes two minutes
